Wendy, 3 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. A wonderful friend of mine, Linda Green, in Florida sent me one of the prayer quilts with the strings that people tie with a prayer. I am now cancer free, but the quilt is still on the corner of my bed and in times of stress I still put it over my shoulders and realize that I am covered in the prayers of loving people. I am so grateful! These beautiful quilts can have a truly lasting comfort knowing that each knot was tied with a prayer to our Savior on my behalf. I noticed on my quilt the tag that says Stitches from Heaven Chapter 926. Are there other chapters? I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and would like to see if there is a group somewhere close.
